The Chester VL5 is a simple, low cost entry to CNC machining ideally suited to higher education and training. The VL5 can also be used in a toolroom workshop environment, light duty metal parts machining, mould making and R&D.
This CNC machine itself is built from tempered cast iron for stress relief to ensure structural stability without deformation. The machine has C3 class ballscrews which ensure highest accuracy and durability. Pretension on all axes minimises thermal distortion. The VL5 can be supplied with Siemens or Fanuc controller.
